William Terrell (W. T.) Dunahoo took over the family land surveying business in 1963 and founded W. T. Dunahoo and Associates. He graduated from Georgia Tech with a Bachelor of Civil Engineering, and earned his licensure as a Georgia Registered Land Surveyor in 1968. He also holds registration as an RLS in South Carolina. With fifty years in the business, he has unsurpassed knowledge of Barrow and surrounding counties, land surveying, and real estate. Using his vast awareness and personal experience with over forty years of development supervision, he is instrumental in working with clients and in guiding them through the development process of residential, commercial, and industrial sites.
W. T. is a Barrow County native. He is a long standing member and past president of the Barrow County Builders Association and the Winder Rotary Club. He enjoys farming, gardening, and fly fishing.
Donald H. Dunahoo started working full time for the company in 1970 after studying surveying courses at Truett McConnell and Southern Tech. He brings forty plus years of land surveying experience to the company. He specializes in boundary surveys, ALTA surveys, topographical surveys, mortgage closing plats, house location plans, and exemption plats.
Outside of work, Don is a long standing member and past president of The Winder Lions Club and is an avid golfer.
Mark Thompson brings twenty years of land surveying experience to W. T. Dunahoo and Associates, LLC. He joined the company in 1993. He specializes in surveying residential and commercial developments and is instrumental in working with grading and utility contractors by determining grade elevations, performing construction staking, and locating utilities. He also performs boundary surveys, mortgage closing plats, and topographical surveys. He continues to integrate the latest surveying technology into his daily work, always coordinating with our engineer and computer draftsmen to produce the highest quality plats.
Outside of work, Mark is an avid hunter and also enjoys fishing and cooking.
Lamar Waldrup joined the company in 1984. He brings 25 years plus of surveying field experience and expertise to the firm. He has vast knowledge of the field work involved in residential and commercial projects. In addition, he also attended continuing education courses at The University of Georgia and received certification as a Level 1B certified inspector with the Georgia Soil and Water Conservation Commission.
Outside of work, Lamar is an avid duck hunter. He also enjoys fishing, deer hunting and spending time with his wife and daughters.
Nicole Dunahoo Wall joined the firm full time in 1997 after graduating from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor of Science in Design. She went on to study land surveying courses and earned certification as a Land Surveyor in Training in 2004. She received her license as a Registered Land Surveyor in Georgia in 2009, earning the distinction of being one of few female registered surveyors in the state. She brings many years of surveying knowledge to the daily operations of the company.
Outside of work, Nicole enjoys participating in her three sons’ school and sporting activities, scrapbooking, and photography.
Matthew W. Sullins joined the firm in 2003. He graduated from Florida State University with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering in 1996 and earned his licensure as a Professional Engineer from the State of Georgia in 2003. Matt brings thirteen years of experience in Civil Engineering to the company that includes the design of residential, commercial, and municipal projects. He stays current with all NPDES requirements and is also licensed as a Level 2 Certified Design Professional from the Georgia Storm Water Conservation Commission.
Outside of work, Matt enjoys his role as a father with his three children. He also enjoys camping festivals in the summer and snowboarding in the winter.
Chris Tarver joined the firm in 1996 on a part time basis while still attending high school and started full time in 2002. Chris took an interest in drafting at a young age, learning to draft with a rapidograph pen set at the age of eight. As technology improved, he took CAD classes and has continued to operate AutoCAD with extreme proficiency for 15 plus years. He attended Southern Polytechnic State University from 2000-2002 enrolling in their architectural program and also studied engineering courses at Gainesville State. He specializes in generating commercial site plans, subdivision preliminary construction plans, as built plans and topographical plans.
Outside of work, Chris enjoys spending time with his wife and two boys. He coaches baseball for his oldest son, enjoys building things and working on computers.
Daniel F. Dunahoo joined the company in 1995 while attending Gwinnett Tech. After studying computer programming, Dan became proficient in the use of AutoCAD and is responsible for generating plats for the company. He continues to bring the latest software and hardware technology to the company.
Outside of work, Dan enjoys spending time with his two children, hunting and fishing.
Renea Cronic joined the company in 2000. Having previously worked for a real estate closing attorney, she has a vast understanding of interpreting deeds and legal descriptions. She serves as a liaison between the various county planning departments and our clients, always ensuring that our plats are generated to county standards. Renea strives to provide our clients with courteous and efficient service.
Outside of work, Renea enjoys reading and spending time with her family.
